August flowers include sunflowers , dahlias, thistle and heleniums, and gladioli. I do stock unusual blooms in the shop and specific flowers can be ordered at a few days notice. The shop number is 01768744240 or email info@greenwheat.co.uk. Due to the current hot weather here are a few tips for looking after your cut flowers and bouquets 1. Remove all packaging and put in a clean vase/jug or whatever you like to display flowers in. Add cold clean water at least 2/3 full. 2. Change the water every couple of days and cut a little off the stems (approx 1cm), remove any dying stems.  3. Please don't put your flowers in full sun and if you do have a cool room in the houes they will last better there! Enjoy them!

When choosing delivery prices £3.50 is for Penrith town centre only, £5.50 villages a few miles out of town (eg Eden Hall, Tirril, Pooley Bridge) £8.50 is further away. Please do not pick a lower option as I will have to reduce what flowers I include to make up the difference.
